Reel-to-reel systems represent a further option enabling plasma treatment to be applied to flexible tape. So that the tape can be guided through the inline plasma
chamber, it is rewound from one reel to another. Both reels are surrounded by the process chamber's vacuum. This setup ensures a consistent treatment and a reproducible
result. Reels with interleaf can also be processed.
