Composition of a PP surface before and after oxygen plasma treatment
Depending on the selection of gases used, groups containing oxygen such as -OH or groups containing nitrogen such as -NH or -NH2 can be integrated. These effects are limited to the surfaces (1-10 µm). The polymer base material remains unaffected.
