For cleaning cycle validation, an automatic and reproducible cleaning process is essential. The CIP cleaning device perfectly adapted to the VSD ensures such a process.
Basically, the device consists of a cleaning lance with spray heads activated electrically or pneumatically. For cleaning purposes, the lance is mounted with the turn of
a hand between the door and the vacuum chamber shelves. The drive unit is located on the outside on top of the VSD.
The lance is used after each drying cycle or product changeover. It is designed to ensure that every point of the vacuum chamber is sprayed for thorough cleaning.
The CIP lance cleans itself and is then disassembled after drying.
